Whale Club
The true version:
It all started one summer day when two friends, gourmets and caterers by hobby, unexpectedly caught a whale. Unfortunately neither of them was an expert on ichthyology. Being convinced that they caught Italian species of golden fish, they put it in the storeroom and started to feed it with canellonii and sapri pizza.
After eight years of such diet the mammal was huge and saucy. He demanded a few-month leave, larger surface and French cuisine.
What could have been done? For all these years our friends have become attached to him like a son, father, brother-in-law in one person. They had no choice. January 11 in the year 2000 the romping Whale gobbled them together with a group of guests. Rescue team who arrived at the spot found only a corked bottle with a letter inside: "Please don't rescue us. Stop. Best regards to our families. Stop. Long live the Whale!"

Wieloryb club was opened in the place occupied by Sapri Pizza for eight previous years. According to the owners of the place the change was necessary because "...the customers' tastes have changed, as well as priorities concerning the interior. We decided that the time has come for some metamorphosis. What our customers expect today is a place with a spirit where you can meet for a friendly chat in original interior."
The Whale offers an original menu, inspired by French cuisine (goat cheese terrina with pistou sauce, sirloin with cabbage and fried vegetables) respects vegetarians (Vegetarian Feast, vegetables in crispy pastry with parsley cream, Swiatowid omlette stuffed with four kind of cheese) and is kind for gourmands (coconut cream with mint topping, mango fruit baked in zabagione and champagne).
