Between December 9 and 15, the third edition of the Actus Humanus Festival will take place in Gdansk.

The idea of the festival is to present pieces of early music corresponding with the period of Christmas, interpreted by the leading representatives of the historical performance from around the world. It is one of the most important festivals of early music in Europe. It gained very high reputation after only two editions.
The third edition of the festival will be inaugurated on 9 December in the historic setting of the Artus Court concert by the legendary Catalan artist Jordi Savall. Actus Humanus promises to be a musical and spiritual experience at the same time, introducing the atmosphere of Christmas. Nearly 70 musicians from 15 countries will perform, among them Il Complesso Barocco for the first time in Poland. An outstanding representative of early music during the festival will be the Ensemble Organum Marcel Peres - one of the first French ensembles playing the historical repertoire of almost all of Europe, showing the evolution of music from the sixth century.
Actus Humanus, as the first festival of classical music, has launched a special Polish-English application created for mobile devices on iOS and Android, which is a guide to festival events and the world of early music.
