Heineken Open'er Festival (May 23, 2011)
The Heineken Open'er Festival is the biggest open-air music and performance festival in Poland and one of the most important cultural event in the whole year. Festival takes place in Gdynia, city in the north of Poland at the Baltic Sea coast.
Every time Open'er Festival offers to its participants a wide choice between different kinds of music from rock, indie and alternative rock, through hip-hop, rap and dance to alternative music, so that everybody could find something satisfying for oneself. Artists perform on 7 stages simultaneously – thanks to this around 120 artists are able to perform each year. There are also other attractions such as festival town with merchandising area, gastronomic zones, camp site, films, theaters, performances, places where you can play sports and of course, sun, sea and beach.
This year one of the shinest stars of the Festival will be Prince, The Strokes and Coldplay. Prince will play at the opening concert to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Festival.
