FETA Theatre Festival (Jun 15, 2011)
International Festival of Open Air and Street Theatres FETA is one of the most interesting summer attractions in Gdansk. The organizers from Palm Club always take care to ensure that the programme of events will include spectacles addressed to the adults and children, both to people eager for ambitious theatre or just a successful entertainment.
Theatres from all over the world will performance between 16th and 19th of July in Gdansk Old Suburb district, picturesque and not too distant from the Old Town part of the city. FETA is also an impuls for the local community of artists who are preparing their preformaces specially for the festival.
One of the biggest attractions this year will be „Odysee” by German Titanik Theatre, which will show beautiful, but also drastic staging. Streams of blood are said to be shedding during the performace.
Entrance at almost all of the performances is free.
