Przystanek Piwna Café (Beer Stop Café) is situated in beautiful Beer Street (Ulica Piwna) in the heritage Old Town of Gdansk. Only 1 minute walk from the famous Long Street (Ulica Dluga), also named Kings Tract , which runs into Long Market renown for it magnificent grand architecture.


Beer Street in Gdańsk, from the side of the channel Motława is an extension of the street Chlebnicka commencing at Chlebnicka Gate. At the end of the street is the Great Armory, built in the early seventeenth century to perform the functions of urban arsenal, and now adapted to the needs of modern commerce.
Before 1945 the German name of the street was Jopengasse, from the then known Jopen Beer, a strong beer variety in Gdansk. Jan Strakowski, the great architect, lived in Beer Street (Ulica Piwna) at the turn of the sixteenth and seventeenth century.
